Environmental Compliance and Regulatory Management Internship:
As an environmental intern, you will gain exposure to the development and implementation elements of our overall environmental, healthy safety management system that satisfy both internal and external requirements\. You will be exposed to Risk Management \(compliance and regulatory data collection and analytics\), Regulatory Management \(applicability analysis, evaluation of trends\), Incident Management and Program Management \(development, implementation, and performance tracking\)\. You may interact with all levels of employees from production workers to top location and business leadership\.
While this role is located at our headquarter offices in Wayzata, MN, work activities would involve limited physical activity comparable to an office environment\.
Internship Programming:
Internships are paid and are at least 12 weeks in duration\.
Day\-to\-day transportation to and from work is the responsibility of the intern\.
Attend an event held at headquarters designed to give exposure to leadership and cross\-functional interns and co\-ops from across the U\.S\.
Interns who demonstrate exceptional performance and a curiosity to learn more may be offered a full\-time position for the following year\.

Required Qualifications:
Pursuing a bachelor?s or master?s degree from an accredited program in engineering, environmental sciences, or chemistry graduating between December 2019 and May 2021
Right to work in the U\.S\. that is not based solely on possession of a student visa or a visa sponsored by a third\-party employer
Demonstrated ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds and cultures
Able to complete a 12\-week internship in the summer \(May/June\-August 2019\)
Must possess a high degree of initiative and resourcefulness in completing work with limited guidance
Must be able to complete essential functions of this job as outlined in the job description with reasonable accommodations
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Efficient and detail\-oriented
Preferred Qualifications:
Overall GPA 3\.0 preferred
Previous environmental experience \(industrial facility, laboratory work, engineering consultant experience\)
Ability to relate technical knowledge to job\-related duties
Demonstrated ability to solve problems and make decisions independently
Demonstrated leadership skills
Bilingual \(English/Spanish\)

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
