Mobility Consultant

Description   This position is responsible for independently advising and consulting assignees and management regarding Global Mobility policies and processes.  The global mobility consultant leverages global mobility expertise to lead a portfolio of global mobility assignments (including short & long term international assignments, permanent transfers, and commuters).   This position requires an ability to work with various levels of employees and management and partnering within a global virtual team. Principal AccountabilitiesAssignment Management 80% Primary point of accountability to stakeholders, delivering Cargill's global mobility program.  Responsible for managing assignment details through the duration of an assignment.  Monitors, anticipates, and proactively resolves matters that arise during international assignments. Continuous improvement focused -  asses global process and procedures and make recommendations to global mobility leadership on improvements and development of practices Effectively and strategically communicate and explain information to ensure smooth execution of assignments; this includes communication with the employees on assignment, Global Mobility team members, Cargill partner teams, and external partners. Partner with internal teams to stay informed on areas such as tax, compensation, benefits, immigration, corporate tax, and relocation. Independently conduct necessary research and analysis to provide global mobility, localization and permanent transfer recommendations to customers. Apply empathy and advocacy principles to customer service delivery. Build & share global mobility knowledge with global team of Compensation & Mobility consultants, leveraging both internal and external best practices. Develop & share Cargill business knowledge. Leverage technology to ensure accurate and complete tracking of data, manage elements of assignments, and work with vendors.  Vendor Management 20% Manage the vendor's in Global Mobility processes and continuously assess to ensure most effective partnership based on Global Mobility objectives. Ensure accountability for adherence to the contract, service level, agreements and work with vendors to resolve any issues or inconsistencies. Hold vendors accountable for positive customer experience and help navigate assignees through potential vendor issues to successful resolution Leverage technology to initiate & oversee processes. Qualifications   Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree 5+ years of global mobility experience Demonstrated success in collaborating across varied stakeholder groups Proven ability to successfully manage multiple priorities High level of tact and ability to handle sensitive employee data and financial information Excellent customer service, problem solving and analytical skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills; Ability to communicate effectively with varied levels of employees; Ability to communicate effectively across cultures and demonstrate empathy Ability to be flexible in a changing and ambiguous environment Ability to interface effectively within a global team environment and partner with multiple business' and functions Strong personal initiative and ability to autonomously anticipate and resolve issues Proven analysis skills sufficient to ensure that compensation package modeling and tax calculations are accurate Affinity for technology and proficient user of standard applications (such as Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Sharepoint, Skype for Business, and Excel) Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field Fluency in Spanish and/or Portuguese Accredited mobility and/or HR certification Understanding of Cargill organization Familiarity with HR technology (AssignmentPro, SuccessFactors, PeopleSoft and/or SAP WAY06783

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
