Regional Mechanical Reliability Leader

Description   Position Purpose & Summary The Regional Mechanical Reliability Lead is responsible for Providing leadership to support safe and reliable plant operations in CSST NA with a focus on mechanical equipment and proactive maintenance concepts. Oversight and deployment of the Asset Health Evaluation Model in CSST NA, including Equipment Maintenance Strategies, Asset Criticality, Predictive technologies, PM optimization and RCM. Responsible for driving improvement in NA Region M&R performance through education, deployment & oversight of metrics. Driving for Value creation from Reliability Engineering through Bad Actor identification and elimination, support of Root Cause process. Ensuring the Reliability Excellence deliverables are completed for capital projects in Region. Provides support, coaching and training within the region in deploying Cargill's Reliability Excellence processes to ensure continuous improvement in productivity of the company's physical assets and to enhance the capabilities of the Reliability Excellence community.  Developing and managing the design, installation and operational specification standards and leading practices for mechanical systems for the region to align with CSST Group and Corporate standards. Principal Accountabilities 35% Leads & drives the CSST NA Maintenance & Reliability programs including process standardization, process improvement recommendations and risk mitigation strategies.   Manages metrics and measures performance and program business impact for CSST NA.  Communicates new leading practices and provides subject matter expertise for remediation of identified deficiencies from assessments. Manages selected 3rd party suppliers and Leading contracts.  Works with CSST Group to improve overall region and group performance. 30% Owns the mechanical asset oriented "Bad Actor" identification, quantification and elimination process for CSST working directly with others in CSST NA.  Champion's asset reliability, asset health improvement on mechanical assets.  Drives action closure after coordinated assessments.  Drives consistent application of RCMs / RCAs and ensures consistent follow up.  Works with CSST Group to improve overall group performance. 10% Develops programs and training to enhance the Maintenance & Reliability capabilities across NA Region. Ensures M&R competency mechanical Reliability is built, developed and ensures learnings are actively promoted in CSST NA through regular visits. 10% Provides input in the review and development of new and existing equipment standards and owns the process for providing structured RE input in Projects over $1 MM.  Executes or manages new equipment IQA inspections.  Coaches NA region in developing RE input in the specific site managed projects.  10% Conducts RE sustainability and program assessments for NA region.    Share / implement RE "Leading" practices across the NA region. 5% Any other duties as assigned Equal Opportunity Employer, including Disability/Vet.   #LI-MEF Qualifications   Education, Experience, Skills Required Bachelor's Degree in mechanical engineering or similar technical discipline.  Minimum of 10 years' experience in Manufacturing and/ or project management; 5 years direct / indirect supervisory experience Demonstrated change management skills. Demonstrated ability to lead people and get results through others (influencing skills). Demonstrated ability to identify and implement detailed solutions to complex technical problems. Demonstrated execution capacity and ability to work with limited supervision, managing multiple priorities Demonstrated governance/ auditing experience. Excellent communication and presentation skills both verbal and written within multiple levels of the organization. Ability to travel as needed (up to 40%) Preferred Certified Maintenance Reliability Profession (CMRP) certification  Master's degree in mechanical engineering or similar technical discipline. Formal training in Predictive Maintenance technologies (vibration, infrared thermography, motor circuit, ultrasound, non-destructive examination) Formal training in RE principles (cause analysis, 5Y, Operator Care, RCM, FMEA, 5S) Experience with Corn Milling equipment and processes Microsoft Office Suite experience Other relevant information to the position Leading and influencing others. Deep understanding of Reliability and its impacts on operations. Predictive Technology and Maintenance Workflow understanding. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
