Supply Planning Lead

Description  Leads and provides direction to the regional supply planning team, and oversees all supply and inventory planning activities for a large team across a mult-plant, multi-customer region. Leads, advises and makes decisions on all major supply and inventory planning activities for a team of 10-11 supply planners and detailed schedulers across all planning horizons with focus on the longer term outlook and high impact on working capital.  These activities include: supply and inventory planning, process development, planning & execution, customer & client interaction / business partnership, systems / data management & reporting, and people, talent & budget management. Principal Accountabilities: 30%   SUPPLY AND INVENTORY PLANNING   Using specialized knowledge and extensive experience, defines inventory strategy and segmentation including incorporation of other relevant strategies and direct collaboration with other functional areas necessary in determining strategies Utilizes deep knowledge of Supply Chain to engage with Supply Chain Planning COE as needed on CIBP development, Planning Projects, Network Design and Optimization projects if there is no Strategic Supply Chain Design & Analytics role in the organization Provides oversight to development of long term supply plans, master production plans and distribution plans Provides oversight to development and execution of inventory plans and managing working capital while improving customer service level Provides oversight and direction on data maintenance relative to supply planning and inventory planning Provides oversight for appropriate issue resolution of mid and near-term tactical issues including involving the appropriate functional areas in decisions Owns and provides direct oversight and leadership on all supply and inventoryprocesses including maintenance, reviews and updates to the processes Provides oversight on working capital reduction and tracking methods to show the reductions   30% PEOPLE, TALENT & BUDGET MANAGEMENT Accountable for performance management, talent development, succession planning and engagement directly and through subordinate supervisors. Manages and provides coaching and/or training to team, including coaching Cargill core values, personal safety, environmental stewardship, community involvement and development of specific competencies/skills. Provides oversight to subordinate supervisors in the selection of staff and other employees; determines resource need, plans for future workforce needs, and approves selection decisions. Responsible for budgeting duties within area of scope (forecasting, reporting P&L, etc.).   20%   INTEGRATED BUSINESS PLANNING Direct accountability for preparing the Supply and Inventory Planning inputs for  the CIBP cycle including necessary PPM inputs, capacity scenarios and recommendations and directs and defines the inputs of direct reports in preparing inputs Directly collaborate with the business Finance Lead to monetize the Supply and Inventory Plans for the CIBP meeting Direct responsibility for coordinating the CIBP Supply Review meeting and publishing the Supply Plans and any action items Directly collaborates with other functions on CIBP actions and process improvements as appropriate Facilitate and evaluate supply scenarios for new products and new business opportunities 20%  BUSINESS PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT/METRICS Defines and publishes Supply and Inventory Planning metrics targets Reviews and provides feedback for actual measures vs. target measures and develops action plans to improve performance Directly responsible for publishing metrics and action plans as part of the CIBP process Direct oversight and leadership for continual Supply Planning and Inventory Planning process improvement focus Uses deep knowledge to lead root cause analysis to identify and correct Supply and Inventory Planning process deviations Ensure adherence to supply planning rules (lead times, frozen schedule zones, inventory policies, etc Travel Requirements: 25% or less #LI-JM1 Qualifications   Minimum Required: University Degree in Business, Economics, or related field 10 years experience in supply chain, operations, finance or customer service with at least 5 years experience in Supply and Inventory Planning 3+ years experience managing direct and indirect reports Experience using SAP  Preferred: MBA or advanced business/supply chain degree Professional supply chain certification (CPIM, CSCP, etc) Lean Six Sigma Certification Prior roles in multiple business fuctions (marketing, sales, finance, production, warehousing, etc) Intermediate skills in Power BI, Tableau, SAP APO, and Excel WAY06879

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
