Description  Position Purpose & Summary The Technical Services Director will deliver value for Global Edible Oil Solutions (GEOS) by:Leading, coaching and developing the Technical Services team in the execution of the GEOS business planand in alignment with GEOS R&D Leadership Team goals. Identifying and executing new business development projects through the team and through direct relationships with key customers in partnership with Commercial, Sales, Marketing, Operations and Food Safety, Quality, and Regulatory. Managing, prioritizing and reporting on the level 1a portfolio of new business development projects and driving improvements to the process and supporting tools and metrics in conjunction with GEOS-NA and GEOS global colleagues. Coordinating applications development work for key GEOS projects and ensuring that all projects are appropriately staffed with the right GEOS and Cargill resources. Principal Accountabilities 40%   Lead, coach, and develop the Technical Services team in the execution of the GEOS NA Regional business plan. Champion safety within the team  Participate and align with GEOS R&D Leadership Team to carry out the goals and activities that support our GEOS business. Direct the activities of the NA Regional Technical Services team (including US, Mexico teams) and other Cargill resources supporting GEOS customer projects; set performance goals aligned with the business plan. Hire and develop the people on the team using the Cargill Leadership Expectations, career planning, training, and succession planning tools. Coach the team on account planning, customer relationship management, value proposition development, reporting, and the use of tools such a Sales Effectiveness skills, 'Jobs To Be Done' and salesforce.com. Work closely with Commercial, Sales and Marketing leaders on customer segmentation, customer satisfaction, account planning, and the use of salesforce.com. Manage Technical Services budget and metrics and report to stakeholders monthly 25%   Identify and execute new business development projects through the team and through direct customer relationships inpartnershipwith Commercial, Sales & Marketing. Work with category leads to set financial targets for new business development in line with business plans; work with the Sales and Technical Services teams to identify and execute customer projects to meet the goals. Ensure that all projects follow scientific rigor, meet all safety requirements, and follow intellectual property best practices. Develop strong customer relationships at key accounts. Represent GEOS at Cargill and customer meetings and in public forums such as trade organizations and publications. 25%   Manage, prioritize andreport on the level 1a NA REGIONportfolio of new business development andsupportprojects as the process owner for the NA REGION Region Ensure that all level 1a customer projects are entered, approved, and tracked; monitor and report project and resource metrics; Serve as the R&D approver for all New Business Development projects entered into the project tracking tool (salesforce.com) Prioritize projects according to the product line strategy and available capacity; drive projects to completion by working with project teams to clearly identify scope and timelines, secure necessary resources, and remove barriers to success.  10%   Coordinate and staff applications development work for key GEOS projects using GEOS and other Cargill resources. Work with project teams, either directly or by appointing an applications leader,  to ensure that key projects requiring applications development or screening have a defined scope, timeline, and resources. Work with other GEOS, GEOS and other Cargill teams (Food Ingredients and Systems Apps, Ingredient, Material Characterization and Nutrition, other Business Units) to secure expert resources and support customers and projects in a One Team approach. Qualifications  Minimum Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Chemistry or a related degree 10 + years experience in food ingredient Technical Services, Applications or a similar discipline  5 + years experience leading a technical team Effective communication of in-depth technical information to all levels of an organization and with customers Excellent verbal and written communication skills and presentation skills Demonstrated ability to develop customer relationships and trust through technical knowledge and expertise Demonstrated ability to build and lead a high performing team Ability to travel up to 25% including some international travel Preferred Qualifications Ph.D./Masters degree Deep expertise in Fats and Oils Experience leading a technical team with staff in multiple locations and from multiple disciplines Strong project and portfolio management skills Strong business acumen Fluency in Spanish Strong behaviors aligned with Cargill Leadership Expectations and GEOS R&D Pillars WAY06778

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
