Tax Senior Support

Position PurposeThis position is a member of the CBS Finance. This position is responsible for reviewing and entering property tax invoices into Onesource property tax system. This position collaborates closely with the Cargill s tax team to ensure property tax payments are scheduled and paid on time. The position runs and reconciles reports to calculate the monthly allocation of property tax charges to Business Units.Principal Accountabilities45%Accurately and efficiently review and enter property tax invoice information into OneSource Property tax system.20%Scan and enter assessment notices into OneSource Property Tax system.15%Maintain payment schedule and initiate timely payment runs. Initiate data upload into JD Edwards10%Collaborate with Tax COE to ensure jurisdictions are paid timely and accurately. Monitor relevant reports and initiate follow up accordingly5% Run reports and reconcile to monthly pay runs in JDE to ensure property tax payments are allocated to business units correctly and timely5%Work on Ad hoc projects as related to property tax area. Relocation will not be provided for this position.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications High School Diploma or GED Equivalent 2+ years of accounting experience 1+ year Solid Microsoft Office application usage experience (Excel, Word, Access)Preferred Qualifications Associates or Bachelor degree in accounting Property tax processing or accounts payable experience Experience with property tax or general ledger accounting software (Onesource Proprety Tax or JD Edwards)Success Factors Ability to work well under time pressures and meet deadlines Demonstrated strong communication skills (verbal, written and listening) Demonstrated problem resolution ability Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills. Demonstrated ability to work independently to complete tasks on timely basis

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
