Container Trade Lead-NA

Description

The Container Trade lane Manager-North America will be responsible for working closely with the
NA Regional Container Lead to develop and build the container business for Cargill
Transportation & Logistics (CTL) in NA. This position requires a sound
overall understanding of the regional container market across Cargill
businesses in order to execute Cargill s NA container strategy as part of the global container strategy. The position
will need strong stakeholder relationship skills specifically to ensure a close
working relationship with multiple Business Units in the region, the Cargill Business
Transportation Lead and Trade Execution teams, and the carrier organizations. The
Trade Lane Manager will also source and negotiate freight-related rates and capacity
for multiple business units as well as develop and fine-tune cost options and
logistics innovations to drive customer solutions and growth.

Qualifications

Minimum Required Qualifications

Education

University Degree or Diploma

Experience

5 or more years of experience working in Transportation, Logistics, Operations, Supply Chain, Commercial Management and/or Trading

Experience in the Container Business and sourcing/negotiating freight

Customer and vendor relationship management and negotiation

Helping to lead/execute a strategy in a complex environment with multiple stakeholders and interests

Preferred Qualifications

Education

Advanced degree in related field

Experience

Experience with other modes/intermodal transportation

Experience building vendor relationships

Start-up experience

Skills

Have experience with growth related change through an organization

Partnering with middle-level leaders and businesses to understand strategies/requirements and translate them into priority actions

Understand ways to map the Container market and know how to translate that knowledge into short- and long-term strategies

Basic financial acumen

Relationship building and ability to build trust and influence middle-level and day-to-day stakeholders both inside and outside of Cargill

Open attitude to internal and external stakeholder requirements, with strong negotiation and communication skills to optimize the same

Success at building and managing vendor relationships

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
