Position Purpose & Summary
The responsibilities of this role will be central to the enhanced effort to develop a core capability on network optimization in order to lead relevant, high value projects across our global Cargill Animal Nutrition \(CAN\) business\. This position is part of the global supply chain team, embedded in CAN?s Business Operations and Supply Chain \(BOSC\) group\. The successful candidate will draw from extensive hands\-on experience and the confidence to work independently in order to optimize/improve multiple areas of our supply chain: Warehousing, Transportation, Inventory, as well as overall current asset Network Design\. The individual will lead fact\-based analysis at a business level to improve performance and support growth objectives\. While initial project work would be focused on the Americas, the role is part of a global team and likely will include future projects across our global Enterprise\. The context of the work will include data driven analysis, utilizing an expertise in optimization software, in order to present changes in asset footprints or network product flow to drive decisions of business senior leadership teams\. Typical challenges to be addressed are strategic in nature, including highly sensitive aspects such as asset closures and M&A opportunities\. The position reports to the CAN Global Capability Lead for Optimization \(currently the Americas Supply Chain Manager\), and works closely with other BOSC Leaders to prioritize opportunities, assess project factors and deliver recommendations for action to the business\. Due to the time investment of developing this critical capability, interested candidates should be open to holding this position for 3\-5 years\.
Principal Accountabilities
60% Business and Supply Chain Analysis ? Assume a leadership role in multiple CFN, CQN and CPN supply chain projects across the Animal Nutrition Enterprise\. These efforts can range in size and complexity, but would primarily be focused on optimizing inventory at factories, design and optimization of supply networks, selecting site locations for new factories or warehouses, and other such projects requiring supply chain optimization capabilities\. This role would be responsible for scoping, organizing resources, setting expectations, data gathering, conducting analysis and mobilizing local cross\-functional business teams to action against specific project goals\. Establish expected business results in coordination with local business managers\. Track, report and take ownership of project progress and results\.
20% Develop Tools \- Design frameworks and improve methods and approaches used to analyze, assess and conduct optimization studies\. Be the business owner for any software tools utilized to support our analysis\. Ensure that we have appropriate capabilities to conduct our project work and that we stay within the methodologies approved by Global IT\.
10% Metrics ? Represent the supply chain function in establishing and measuring specific, core supply chain metrics\. Assist local business teams to establish metrics and roll up regional results into the BU supply chain scorecard\.
10% Subject Matter Expert ? Serve as the Network Design and Optimization expert within CAN\. Responsible for staying current with technology and processes within this discipline by attending local best practice sharing groups and conferences\.

Qualifications

+ MBA or MS in Supply Chain
+ Six Sigma Certification
+ Prior Merger & Acquisition work
+ Prior experience with network and inventorymodeling and optimization software \(examples: Llamasoft or LogicNet Plus\)
+ SAP Experience ? especially with APO/IBP and TMmodules
+ Advanced skills in BI Tools \(Power BI, Tableau\)
+ International Experience
+ Multiplelanguage capabilities \(Spanish, Portuguese or Mandarian would be beneficial\)

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
