Description
Position Purpose
The Regional Sourcing Lead \(RSL\) supports micro ingredient, premix, and additive sourcing strategy for Cargill Animal Nutrition \(CAN\) businesses in North and Latin America, helps develops sourcing talent in the businesses, and ensures strategic alignment across categories, functions, and businesses\. The RSL helps the businesses capture competitive advantage and manage micro ingredient risk by reaching out proactively to understand priorities, communicating simply and efficiently with the right audience, and leveraging best practices between businesses and regions\. The position is the primary point of contact for business leaders, embedded RMS teams, and other business functions regarding global sourcing strategies, pricing, competitor behavior, and market trends\. Works with Global Category teams to develop global sourcing strategies and establishes contact with suppliers as needed\. Helps different CAN \(Cargill Animal Nutrition\) businesses in the region build relationships and collaborate on initiatives that maximize benefit for CAN overall\. Ensures connectivity with other CAN functions such as Strategic Marketing & Technology \(SMT\) and Operations, as well as other Cargill Enterprises on ingredient opportunities\. Offers support to commercial leaders in the businesses and ensures they are connected to local RMS on pricing\.
Principal Accountabilities
40% Connectivity and Continuous improvement: Connect with cross\-functional and business leaders to identify, prioritize, and execute value capture opportunities in the context of business and CAN global sourcing strategies; analyze data and share best practices across businesses, functions and regions to help achieve value capture targets\.
40% Talent development: Introduce new CAN businesses and/or embedded RMS employees to global micro structure, processes, and priorities; identify, support, and help develop future talent from embedded teams to business and RMS leaders; connect leaders from across businesses within the region\.
20% Deploy Global Sourcing Strategy: Align with global category team to understand and refine micro ingredient sourcing strategy, and ensure execution of global sourcing initiatives by businesses in the region\.
Location: First choiceWayzata, MN 2nd: Campinas, Brazil 3rd:Guadalajara, Mexico 4th: within Cargill office in US 5th: Anywhere in US\.
Qualifications
Required qualifications
+ Bachelor Degree with emphasis in business, agricultural economics, or related discipline
+ Strong interpersonal communication skills \(both written and verbal\) in English
+ 3\-5 years of purchasing, sourcing or supply chain experience\.
+ Strategic thinker with understanding of competitive economics and risk management
+ Exposure to customer segmentation and pricing strategy
+ Ability to ?lead by influence? through training, sharing best practices, and building trust with internal customers from many different cultures
+ Agile thinker who is energized by change and the unknown
+ Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks, meet deadlines and make decisions that impact business results
+ Demonstrated strong problem solving and organization skills, attention to detail
+ Analysis of comparative spend data, market price history and trends
+ Proficient in MS Office, especially MS Excel and PowerPoint
Preferred qualifications
+ Advanced Degree in Business, Sourcing, Procurement or Animal Science/Nutrition or Agricultural Economics
+ 3\-5 years working in a complete feed business, premix business, or micro ingredient company
+ Sales or Technical experience with micro ingredient or additives company
+ Macro or micro commodity merchandising experience
+ Supply chain, sourcing or purchasing in animal nutrition or related industry
+ Fluent in Spanish and/or Portuguese
+ Ability to evaluate relative value nutrition characteristics of various micro ingredients

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
