North American Bulk Agriculture Truck Sourcing Lead

Position Overview:
Cargill and Cargill Transportation & Logistics (CTL) are modernizing and improving our supplychain systems and processes to enable business growth and capture efficienciesthat lower our cost to serve. OurTransportation & Logistics Sourcing activities will be performed by the CTLshared service on behalf of the business. The purpose of this role is to partner with business/transportationleaders, serve as Cargill's external point of contact and drive T&L valueacross the supply chain.
As the regional North American Bulk Agriculture (Ag) truckload segment lead, you will identify motorcarrier synergies across Cargill, driving process standardization andprofessionalizing transportation procurement processes. This position will lead procurement events,manage the performance metrics and advance internal/external benchmark capabilities. This position will manage carrier relationships across thesesegments, develop the sourcing strategies, perform carrier selection andnegotiate transportation pricing in conjunction with a deep understanding ofthe transportation markets for all segments. This position must also understand, support, and align across CargillNorth American businesses. This roleoperates in a dynamic and complex environment supporting Cargill businesses andaligns with stakeholder strategies to develop, evaluate, and pursue new/growthopportunities.
Principal Accountabilities:
60% - Lead the development and deployment ofCTL's North American truck vision and strategy, including leading thecontracting for Bulk Ag and Ag Product trucking services. Understand the transportation relatedbusiness and customer requirements of each business unit to better align oursourcing strategies.
20% - Determine carrier segmentation, lead theselection process and build relationship management strategies that support ourmarket, carrier, client, and customer approach, while managing the over-allvendor relationships.
15% - Ensure common processes (eg. CargillStrategic Sourcing, market intelligence sharing) and tools (aligned withOperations/Technology deployment) are consistently implemented and aligned withthe Process, Data, and Technology strategy. Align with Global Truck Strategyand provide leadership in the standardization of processes/tools and thesharing of best practices across our global regions.
5% - Anyother duties as assigned.
Required:
Bachelors Degree, preferably inbusiness, logistics, transportation, supply chain management
8 years Transportation experience or related experience including truck procurement and/or operational experience within atrucking company
Experience with customer and vendor relationship management andnegotiation
Experience leading the development and execution of astrategy in a complex environment with multiple stakeholders and interests
Financial acumen, including strong analyticalskills; experience with scorecards/metrics

Preferred:
Advanced degree in a related field
Experience with other mode/inter-modal (e.g. Truck, Container) building vendor relationships and understanding the market
Commercial truck line and/or brokerage
Experience leading a business with P&L responsibilities
Experience in Agricultural Commodity Trading
Experience in Bulk trucking

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
