This role is responsible for the product management of assigned product(s), which may encompass consumers, small businesses or both, for the Retail Branch Banking organization. Lead all product management activities for the assigned product(s), including business analysis, risk analysis sales support, portfolio management, pricing activities, optimizing distribution through all channels, developing and delivering on marketing strategies, thoroughly understand the industry and competitive landscape and development of new products and services. You would be responsible for achieving financial objectives for the assigned product(s) and maximizing acquisition, cross-sell and retention, while actively ensuring we meet the needs of each customer segment.
Major Areas of Accountability
Proactively manage all aspects of the assigned product(s) and portfolio(s) (consumer and/or small business) to meet organizational goals. This includes leading business analysis, sales support, pricing, operations, risk management, new product development, marketing recommendations, fraud/loss prevention activities, profitability management, and day-to-day management activities for the assigned product(s).
Directly manage and influence the full product lifecycle. Identify, recommend and execute change that improves the experience, performance, profitability or efficiency of the assigned product(s) and portfolio(s)
Develop and execute plans and strategies to meet the financial goals of the assigned product(s), including new accounts and/or balance acquisition, retention, cross-sell of products to new and existing customers, market share growth, revenue, and profitability objectives for the assigned product(s) and portfolio(s).
Proactively monitor the competitive and regulatory environment to identify risks and opportunities. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory standards and guidelines for the assigned product(s) and portfolio(s).
Drive the commitment to customer-focused products and related services and a superior end-to-end customer experience. Continually solicit input from customers and key partners to identify opportunities to evolve the current product(s) and/or develop new products that meet customer's needs. Ensure that the outcomes of support groups and partners are delivering on the desired experience
Ensure effective representation and delivery of assigned product(s) across all channels (online, mobile, branch, call center) for both sales and service.
Support planning and budgeting processes, managing to pro forma projections for the assigned product(s) and portfolio(s).
Bachelor degree in Business or related discipline (or) equivalent business experience
Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience and progressive responsibility in product management & product development
Experience with developing initiatives which have increased product acquisition, cross-sell, usage and retention
Experience with increasing product profitability through successful product development and implementation
Demonstrated ability of "hands on" of end-to-end product development and product management processes and disciplines
Attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
Superior written and verbal communication
Strong general and cross-functional management experience in a matrix organization
Minimum 10 years' experience in a regulated environment; with knowledge of retail banking products preferred but not required.
P&L responsibility
Experience with large, complex portfolios
Strong project management skills

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
