Description
SUMMARY
Responsible to develop, implement, measure marketing campaigns and event activation. Also, work with Marketing Manager to facilitate and train marketing programs like social media, digital/SEM/SEO marketing, online reputation, public relations and other advertising mediums.
_DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES_
_Management_
1. Works with individual departments and Marketing Manager to implement appropriate marketing programs and tracking systems to measure outcomes/ROIs.
2. Coordinate multi channel advertising campaigns with vendors to place in various markets and mediums to include; social media, radio, web ads, public relations, customer email retention and direct marketing.
3. Develop a larger social media, online reputation and public relations presence that meet Village Automotive Group and dealership standards.
4. Assist with ad copy, proof reading, strategic messaging and graphics layout as necessary.
5. Help monitor and maintain advertisement plans and return on investment data to analyze campaign strengths and weaknesses.
_Department/Team_
1. Participates and contributes in assigned marketing activities and improvement efforts of the department to ensure consistency in communications, education, compliance and overall services provided to employees and management.
2. Provides support and resources to individual employees; departments and/or management to ensure needs and timelines are met in a professional and timely fashion.
_Processes_
1. Utilize data and ideas from various automotive resources specific to local marketplace and brand (i.e. Martiz, Global Insight; Ad Insight, JD Power, Lexus, GM, Toyota, Chevrolet, etc.)
2. Assist in the organization, communication and delivery of data and research reports to other departments or management as requested.
3. Working with IT and clerical support to maintain Marketing Shared Drive(s).
4. Maintain and research corporate marketing budget with results reporting as requested.
5. Manage vendor/partner contracts to ensure vendor compliance and quality, as well as maximizing resources.
_Training_
1. Ensures ongoing knowledge of marketing programs and strategies shared with appropriate managers, employees, customers, vendors as necessary.
Performs other duties as requested.
_MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES_
1. Three to five years related marketing experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education & experience.
2. Previous marketing management preferably in retail automotive industry.
3. Effective interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills and computer skills. Must be able to quickly grasp terminology of automotive business and keep abreast of technological , social media, website development/maintenance and CRM programs.
4. High mathematical aptitude to calculate figures and amounts (i.e. discounts, interest, commissions, etc.).
5. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
6. Manufacturer training preferred.
7. Valid Driver's License, acceptable driving record and at least age 18 years of age required to drive company or customer vehicles.
_PHYSICAL DEMANDS _
1. Regularly required to talk and hear and frequently required to stand, walk, sit, reach with hands and arms; and stoop, kneel and crouch.
2. Regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds; occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
3. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
4. Able to work a consistent and predictable schedule as determined by management and business needs.
_WORK ENVIRONMENT_
1. Frequently exposed to outside weather conditions and occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions and fumes or airborne particles.
2. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
