Visiting Angels is seeking caring and compassionate people to work as caregivers for our organizationOur caregivers provide one-on-one care to clients throughout the west metroWe are looking for individuals with high levels of patience, kindness and determination who are able to work independentlyThe Caregiver is responsible for the physical care and emotional support of our clients who may no longer be able to perform all the tasks of daily living due to illness, injury, surgery, or disability.The ideal candidate will be able to approach clients with empathy and encouragementCaregivers are to provide companionship, conversation and engagement with clients Caregivers will be expected to perform tasks that will help clients with their activities of daily livingThese tasks can include assisting with personal hygiene, meal planning and preparation and light housekeepingHousekeeping tasks may include laundry, vacuuming, dusting, sweeping and moppingCaregivers may also provide help with transportation and running errands for and/or with clientsVisiting Angels West Metro is currently hiring for all shifts (morning, afternoon, evening and overnight) Priority in hiring will be given to applicants who are available to work weekendsStarting pay will be $18-20 per hour, based on experienceVisiting Angels offers a $2 per hour incentive for weekend shifts of six hours or lessVisiting Angels West Metro services communities including Minneapolis, StLouis Park, Minnetonka, Wayzata, Maple Grove, Plymouth, Eden Prairie and Chanhassen. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
