Candidates should have excellent interpersonal skills, a strong commitment to confidentiality, and familiarity with health care software.
The Patient Care Coordinator will also assist the doctors with determining insurance benefits as well as some insurance coding and billing.
On the job training is available.
Responsibilities:
Schedule patient appointment times and other phone related duties.
Encourage patients to follow prescribed treatments.
Manage the flow of patient care activities.
Perform administrative tasks for physicians and other medical providers.
Assist the doctors with determination of insurance benefits as well as some basic coding and billing tasks.
