In this role, you will gain corporate work experience with hands-on involvement in creating a more diverse, inclusive, and equitable culture.
Working closely with our global DEI team you will collaborate on projects that have a tangible impact on our business and customers.
You will get exposure to Cargill leaders and assist in the development and deployment of global and regional programs.
You will have frequent interaction and communication across multiple levels of the organization and will be assigned to projects in support of impacting our workforce, workplace and marketplace.
Primary responsibilities include, but not limited to:
conducting internal and external research, assessment of existing services and offerings and proposing new ideas, development and delivery of programs, practices, and processes, analyzing and recommending enhancements for maintaining and improving DEI pages on Cargill's intranet site, project management of DEI initiatives, including Supplier Diversity and operations, and other duties as assigned.
During the internship, you will seek real challenges, cultivate your curiosity, enjoy both personal and team accomplishments and have your work acknowledged along the way.

Throughout the internship, interns and co-ops are invited to participate in events that will give exposure to leadership, provide development opportunities, and offer the ability to network with cross-functional interns/co-ops across the U.

Internship Details Internships are typically 12 weeks in duration.
Interns are paid hourly for time worked.
Interns are responsible for transportation to and from work.
Interns may have the opportunity to travel during their term.
Interns who demonstrate outstanding performance and a curiosity to learn more may be offered an internship, co-op or full-time position to return the following year.
This opportunity is not guaranteed and is subject to business need.

Able to complete a 12-week internship in the summer (March/April/May and/or - August 2024).
Candidates must be geographically flexible and willing to relocate for an internship opportunity anywhere in the U.

Proven ability to work optimally with individuals from a diverse set of backgrounds and cultures.
Must possess a high degree of initiative and resourcefulness in completing work with limited guidance.
Effective written and oral communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications Collaborative and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Be self-motivated and able to take initiative to work independently.
Has the ability to maintain confidentiality and utmost discretion while being privy to sensitive information.
Show interest in Diversity, Equity and Inclusion work.
Project Management experience.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
